It has come to my attention that there are things I cannot write on a true-name blog that would be best said under another name or another web identity. It’s not that I’m a particularly controversial person, but it’s amazing what the corporate world thinks of as controversy. It’s getting so that you can’t tell if people are more offended by an honest opinion or the fact that you’d be brave enough to express one. Anyhow, here I am. Dig my bad self.

I am a technological optimist (“Hey, that’s a cool toy!”) and a personal pessimist (“…but some wiseacre is bound to use it to f#$% with people”). Thus the title, Optimistic Jeremiads.
